Paul is a local farmer and tourism operator and has been a Southland District councilor for over 12 years. Also the Deputy Mayor, he has been associated with a range of a community organizations and has been with the South Catlins Charitable Trust for 8 years.  Paul has seen the area change in recent years and is keen to ensure local people can continue to enjoy it alongside visitors.
